Born in Whitehorse, Yukon, Kate was drawn to country music at an early age. She idolized Terri Clark, Leann Rimes, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Sara Evans, and Reba, and would serenade the neighbors from her backyard swing set with her own renditions of any and every song they would listen too.  

Now a country singer/songwriter based in Calgary, Alberta, Kate has had the opportunity to headline iconic stages including Ranchmans, has been awarded best original song for Ranchman's Rising Star Competition, had her single "Bang" hit the top 10 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown, and regularly plays several other venues and festivals throughout the province.  Her relatable songwriting and storytelling mixed with her powerful, soulful voice has set her apart in the country music scene. 

The past three years have been astronomical for Kate's music career.  She has had the opportunity to work with industry professionals in Nashville and Alberta, including Stephen Shiveley, Charlotte Avenue Entertainment, Jordan Craig, and Grant Howarth.  She released her first single and music video for "Numb" in March of 2021. She has been nominated for three YYC Music Awards and released her debut EP "I Do" in November of 2022.  Kate has big plans for 2024, including the release of new original music and many live energy shows that will leave the audience craving more!
